Another one of Tru Essence poets shines... Congratulations Poetiq Miss for taking first placein the 2nd annual "Stars of Tommorrow Talent Explosion" she received perfect tens from all four judges, which included the legendary five-time Apollo winner, spoken word artist Jessica CareMore. Dhakkiya
was judged on talent, audience response, stage performance, and appearance. She took home 500 dollars cash, two weeks of recording time in the studio, as well as other prizes. Dhakkiya winning first place is a direct reflection of hard work and dedication to her art. Thank you to everyone who supported her at this event!!!!!! more>>
